For an average sized dual cab you'll only need 200–300ml per coat. That makes it the most economical sealant on the market — a single 1L bottle covers 3–4 full applications.
What are the dilution ratios for Salt Exterminator & Salt Seal?

Can I use this on my canopy or trailer?
Yes — as long as you follow the product directions, all 4WDetail products are safe for canopies and trailers, including aluminium, painted steel, fibreglass, and powder-coated finishes.
How do I protect my 4WD on the beach?
It's a simple 3-step solution we call The Triple Threat:
- Decontaminate the topside and underbody with Salt Exterminator — pressure wash off.
- Apply Salt Seal to the topside, pressure wash off, then dry.
- Once the underbody is dry, apply Chassis Shield.
That's it — wheel away worry-free.
Can I use Salt Exterminator on ceramic-coated vehicles?
Yes. As long as you follow the directions, Salt Exterminator is safe on ceramic-coated vehicles and won't compromise the coating.
Can I use Salt Exterminator on PPF-wrapped vehicles?
Yes — when used as directed, Salt Exterminator is safe on paint protection film (PPF) with no risk of lifting or staining.
Can I use 4WDetail products on a non-4WD?
