Refund policy

Return Policy

Return Window: We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Return: To qualify for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging. For chemical products, the bottle must be sealed. Items must not be modified in any way. Additionally, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Initiating a Return: To begin the return process, please contact our customer support team at help@4WDetail.com. If your return request is approved, you will be responsible for the cost of return postage. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Ensure that you include a copy of your invoice with the returned items to facilitate efficient processing. Items returned without prior authorisation or without an invoice copy will not be accepted.

Restocking of Returned Items

Restocking Fee: All returned items are subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the total purchase price or $15, whichever is greater. This fee helps cover the costs associated with processing and restocking.

Exceptions to Restocking Fee: The restocking fee does not apply to items returned due to damage or defects upon receipt. In such cases, contact our customer service team for a replacement without a restocking fee.

Fee Calculation: The restocking fee is based on the total purchase price of the returned items, excluding shipping and handling charges. It will be deducted from the total refund amount.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive an incorrect item, contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and ensure you receive the correct item or a suitable resolution as soon as possible.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as opened chemical bottles). If you have questions about the return eligibility of a specific item, please contact us. Gift cards are also non-returnable/ non-refundable.

Exchanges

Please reach out to us at help@4WDetail.com. Customer will be responsible for all associated shipping costs of returned items and shipment costs of exchanged items. Restocking fee is not applicable for exchanges if order cost is equal to or greater than original order.

Refunds

Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected. If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to complete the processing and posting of the refund.
